Yes! The surgeons have scheduled surgery to reconnect Reece tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM. Please join us in praying that everything goes well. Currently, Reece is in 3 parts. Dr. Robertson informed us that as long as the part which is resting inside is long enough, they will make 2 connections. If that portion is not long enough, they will only make one connection. We pray they will make the right decision on this matter and do what's right for Reece and his recovery. It's difficult sometimes to put the lives of our children into a doctor's hands. But, ultimately, we believe we put the life of Reece in God's hands and know He will guide the doctor's through it all. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Tonight, we are going to leave early because we'll be up here early tomorrow. We'll keep you posted on tomorrow's events. Thanks for your love! We love you too! -Sue

And family
Know that Reece will be in God's hands. I'm happy that you can know this day has finally arrived and that the surgeons will know clearly what must occur and what will be best. Heal little Reece O God, may he come through the surgery well and and rest easy.

Sue, I'll let staff know and I know it will start the Blue Star prayer line going for the morning. Praying that the drs. will be able to do just this one surgery, but only if it is what is best for Reece in the long run. Praying for patience and comfort as you wait. And hoping that you are home asap! Hugs to you all.
ReplyDeleteNykamps,
